OUR WINE BAR
Gastronomía Bilbao is not only a wine bar but a whole experience around the wine world. An educational and gastronomic wine experience with over +500 wine references in offer from all over Spain carefully chosen by our skilled and passionated team of sommeliers. You can enjoy our wines inside (with over 300m2) and outside in our unique terrace overlooking the emblematic La Salve red bridge and the Guggenheim museum.
In Gastronomía Bilbao you will not find any of the big commercial wine brands. We focus every day in finding the best and most special Spanish wines, coming from small-medium boutique family wineries (with a special focus in natural and biodynamic wines).
You can taste our wines by the glass (Riedel) or the bottle paired with a fantastic arrangement of salads, local cheeses and charcuterie boards with the most premium Iberian ham or local anchovies.
DEDICATED WINE TASTING ROOM
Gastronomía Bilbao is equipped with a beautiful private tasting rooms that holds up to 25 people.
This space is normally used for our wine tasting experiences led by one of our sommeliers. But we of course have them in offer for bespoke corporate events, conferences, business meetings, brand presentations, birthdays or anything you might have in mind that needs a special space.
The tasting room is sound proofed, equipped with TV, A/C and completely accesible for weelchairs.
OUR WINE SHOP
Our Gastronomía Bilbao wine shop has in offer some of the most special and best wines of Spain. We will carefully wrap them for you so you can enjoy at home/hotel o we can ship them internationally to your door step.
In our gourmet shop you will be able to find special Spanish wines, delicatessen Spanish products, kitchen crafts and wine accessories.

How to get there? The best way to get to our cooking school in Bilbao is by walking. Put in Google maps: Plaza de la Salve, 6 and take a beautiful walk along the river as we are located just in front of the famous La Salve red bridge with impressive views over the Guggenheim museum.

If you come by car, you can park in the street (paid green zone) or in the public parking of the Hesperia Hotel (1 minute walk from our venue).
